Tree Removal & Pruning In Beaumont
Beaumont is mostly new. Most of the town was built in the last 20 years, which means most of the trees are young and were planted by a builder who picked whatever was cheap that week. We see a lot of the same things: Swedish columnar aspens dying off in rows, Schubert chokecherries covered in black knot, ash and maples growing into the eaves because nobody ever trained them. Fixing that early is cheap. Fixing it in 15 years is not.
The old part of town around the church and Four Seasons Park is the exception: mature spruce, poplar and elm that need real pruning or, in some cases, removal. And the acreages between Beaumont and Nisku are the usual shelterbelt and big-spruce work.

Perfect experience having a tree pruned. The crew did a great job, on time, courteous and left the sight spotlessly clean. Estimate was easy, and prompt, as was scheduling the work. Couldn’t be happierPosted on Google![]()

Edmonton Arborists were fantastic through the whole process. They were communicative, quick to respond, and happy to answer questions. They were able to schedule the removal of our tree within a week of the quote coming back, and the 4 man team were excellent. They were efficient, did a great job, and spent the time to clean up our yard once they were finished. It was overall an excellent experience, and we would absolutely have them back to do any other services we may need.Posted on Google![]()

Beaumont Specifics
Columnar aspens. Beaumont is full of them and they’re all about the same age, which means they’re all dying at about the same time. We remove them, chip them, and grind the stumps so they stop suckering. A row of them is priced as one job.
Black knot. If you have a Schubert chokecherry, a mayday or a flowering cherry, check it for black lumps on the branches. That’s black knot, it spreads, and it needs to be cut out in the dormant season. We do a lot of it in Beaumont.
Young tree training. A light structural prune on a 10-year-old tree takes an hour and sets it up for life. It’s the cheapest thing we do and the one people skip.
Why Edmonton Arborist
Edmonton Arborist has been doing this since 2018 and we’ve got 850+ Google reviews at 4.9 stars to show for it. Three-person crews, our own bucket truck, chippers and stump grinders. Fully insured and WCB covered, and we’ll show you the paperwork if you ask (you should ask everyone). We don’t push chemicals, we don’t top trees, and we’ll tell you “leave it alone” when that’s the right answer.
Beaumont Questions
Is Beaumont in your service area?
Yes, along with Leduc, Nisku and the acreages in between. Travel is built into the quote.
My columnar aspens are dying. Can you remove them?
Yes, and grind the stumps so they stop sending up suckers. Multiple trees are priced as one job. Send a photo of the row.
Can you fix black knot?
We prune it out well below the knots, in the dormant season. If the tree is more knot than tree, we’ll tell you it’s a removal.
